In the 1300th year of the Third Age of Middle-earth, The lord of all Nazgûl came to Angmar and united the squabbling lords and orc tribes under his banner. Under the rule of the witch-king the realm prospered and grew and waged war on the Dunedain of the north for over 600 years. Men and Orcs flocked to Angmar to answer the Witch Kings call.
Under his command they ravaged the lands of Arnor. The three realms Rhudaur, Cardolan and Arthedain fell before the Witch Kings might.

This assault on Eriador would however not go unpunished…

In the year 1975 of the Third Age, after the last fortress of Arnor – Fornost – had fallen. The doom of Angmar came swift. Eärnur, future king of gondor, arrived at the grey haven of Lindon with an army bent on revenge. The men of Gondor were joined by a battalion of High Elves under the command of Glorfindel of the house of the Golden Flower.

The combined forces of elves and men brought doom upon the witch-king, like it did to his master before him. With the lord of the nazgul banished, the witch realm of Angmar quickly crumbled. Cities were utterly destroyed with nary a stone left to mark where they once stood; orcs were slaughtered in the thousands with the cleansing of Mount Gram. Those who remained fled far into the north, avoiding all persecution. Angmar, the fury of the north, was no more…

Under the neglectful watch of Gondor however, the Angmarim slowly crept back and the fires of Carn Dûm were kindled anew. In time, this slow trickle of refugees blossomed into a fledgling nation; The Fortress of Carn Dum was repaired and the ice tower rebuilt; the town of Litash was captured once more and the long abandoned dwarven halls beneath it reclaimed. Orcs returned from the Misty Mountains and settled again in Mount Gram…
Now, in the year 2980 of the Third Age, the remnants of Angmar stand ready to repay the Dunedain and the elves the hurt caused by Earnur and Glorfindel. Our warriors stand ready with fresh steel in their hands and keen bows on their backs. The warg tribes of Mount Gram under the command of DRANGU have pledged their allegiance to our cause once more.
Word of our rebirth has reached the witch-king aswell, he might join us once more and lead us to victory – but for now, he has send for the Numenorean Agandaur, an inquisitor and sorcerer of Sauron – to lead our resurgence.

The witch realm of Angmar shall rise once more, and like we did a thousand years ago, we shall bring forth an avalanche of destruction upon those who resist us. Dwarves, elves, men, … all will pay the iron price and all will bow to the iron crown.
