What's new in SysLinuxOS 12.1
SysLinuxOS 12.1 brings some improvements and bug fixes. By default, it includes the latest 6.4 kernel directly from the backports repository, replacing the removed 6.3.8 version. Additionally, VMware Player 17 has been added.
Other changes are related to some system icons and additional adjustments have been made in preparation for the upcoming integration of new custom repositories for SysLinuxOS. The changes apply to both GNOME and Mate editions.
SysLinuxOS 12.1 is bootable via USB, brings Mate and GNOME desktops, Calamares Installer, Linux Kernel 6.4 amd64, Firefox Browser, Chrome, Chromium, Edge and Tor, Teamviewer, Anydesk, Remmina, Zoom, Skype, Wireshark, Packet Tracer 8.2.1, GNS3, Nmap, Lssid, Etherape, Ettercap, PackETH, Packetsender, Angry Ip Scanner, Sparrow Wifi, Fast-cli, Speedtest-cli, ipcalc, iperf3.

SysLinuxOS 12 (for System Integrators) is an Debian-based GNU/Linux live distribution, designed for system integrators and system administrators. It offers a complete networking environment that is organized to integrate various software tools, with others added by meand has a friendly graphical interface using the Mate or Gnome Desktop. SysLinuxOS was built to work right out of the box, with all networking tools already installed by default. There is no need to install anything, it is a Swiss army knife to always carry with us. The kernel has been upgraded to version 6.4. Unlike Debian 12, OS-Prober is enabled by default in SysLinuxOS 12 to recognize other operating systems installed on the system. Network interfaces are recognized by default as Eth0, Wlan0 , etc. Additionally, there are other hidden differences that will be explored in detail later
