Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is an upcoming first-person shooter game developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision. It is a direct sequel to the 2019 reboot, and will serve as the nineteenth installment in the overall Call of Duty series. It is scheduled to be released on October 28, 2022 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

Taking place in real time, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II features returning characters, both from the Original MW series, as well as from its predecessor, including fan favourites such as Ghost, Soap MacTavish and Captain Price.[3] In addition to the base multiplayer, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II includes Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, as well as upcoming modes such as “Raid” and “DMZ”.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is expected to be first game in the mainline Call of Duty series with a 2-year development cycle, with the next Call of Duty title expected to release in 2024.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a 2019 first-person shooter game developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision. Serving as the sixteenth overall installment in the Call of Duty series, as well as a reboot of the Modern Warfare sub-series, it was released on October 25, 2019, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Call of Duty: Vanguard is a 2021 first-person shooter game developed by Sledgehammer Games and published by Activision. It was released on November 5 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. It serves as the 18th installment in the overall Call of Duty series.

Call of Duty: Warzone is a free-to-play battle royale video game released on March 10, 2020, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows. A version for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S has been announced to be released sometime in the future.[1] The game is a part of 2019's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and is connected to 2020's Call of Duty: Black Ops: Cold War and 2021's Call of Duty: Vanguard (but does not require purchase of either titles) and was introduced during Season 2 of Modern Warfare content. Warzone is developed by Infinity Ward and Raven Software (the latter later credited as the sole developer following the integration of Cold War's content) and published by Activision.[2] Warzone allows online multiplayer combat among 150 players, although some limited-time game modes support 200 players. Other modes include Plunder, Rebirth Resurgence, Buy Back Solos and others. The game features both cross-platform play and cross-platform progression between three games.
