I built a custom controller for the C64 mini/maxi system. I figured out the mapping and have used this controller for carousel games as well as games loaded from Classic mode. Seems to work just fine, though I haven't mapped the triangle buttons yet. Haven't needed them so far.

USB Board Mapping:
The fire Button - K8
First button - K3
Second button - K2
Third button - K9
Fourth button - K10
