City Football Group doesn't have majority of stakes on Girona, after restructuring they have 47% (7), (8)
Girona Football Group which is owned by Pere Guardiola holds shares too and he is president of the board of directors (9) (10)
Guardiola is independent and just Pep Guardiolas brother, connections to City Football Group just exist as partner in the ownership of Girona FC and no signs he is under the influence of the Group (11)
The connection probably came up because of the Guardiola brothers and the CFG CEO also working with both of them before at Barca (12)
Board manages and represents the club for example by installing the CEO and other managers (13)
Diego Gigliani is Vice-President of the board as a member of CFG (14)
John MacBeath was a former executive director at Man City and has been named into the board, which lets the conclusion hes been put there by CFG (15)
Simon Cliff is General Counsel at CFG and also a board member (16)
So of 6 Board Members with voting rights, 2 are from CFG and John MacBeath has a connection to CFG
conclusion: Impossible to tell, no insider information
