The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (2017) (ゼルダの伝説 ブレス オブ ザ ワイルド Zeruda no Densetsu Buresu obu za Wairudo?, tdl. "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild") is a 2017 action-adventure video game in The Legend of Zelda series, developed by Nintendo EPD in collaboration with Monolith Soft and published by Nintendo for the Wii U and Nintendo Switch consoles.
It is the eighteenth installment in the series and the third to use high-definition graphics.
It was released on March 3, 2017, for the Wii U (being the last Nintendo-published game to be released for that console) and Nintendo Switch.
The player controls Link, who awakens in a post-apocalyptic world after a hundred years of sleep to defeat Ganon and save the kingdom of Hyrule.
Unlike the previous titles in the series, the game features an open world that allows the player to find different ways to complete a goal and allows the story to be completed in a non-linear fashion.
"Testing" is a series of gameplays of games I'm unfamiliar with or had no intention of playing, but I try them out for about 30 or 40 minutes to see if they change my mind and then play them through to the end. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
