Another horror game for October- this one is a 2003 survival horror game based on the John Carpenter movie "The Thing". It actually takes place not long after that movie ends. There are a LOT more creatures in this game compared to the movie.

I remember the freezing mechanic being a bit unique for the time, and having to take the well-being of your squad into account adds an interesting layer/obstacle. Also, having to balance bullets with a flamethrower and fire extinguisher is also interesting.
