Each engine has an integrated drive generator (IDG) which is the primary source of electrical power in flight.

If the DRIVE light illuminates you might need to disconnect the IDG to prevent generator drive damage (not required in all situations eg. Engine Failure)

The guarded generator drive disconnect switch allows you to disconnect the generator from the engine. This is an irreversible action and requires engineering action to rectify, so don’t do what I did in this video!
