There's a somewhat complicated trick you can exploit in Bionic Commando for the NES that allows you to brute-force your way up to the top of a cliff, rather than taking the intended route through the lower tunnels, then up and around. This speedrun tactic saves you maybe ten to fifteen seconds overall.
