This Sudoku makes a meal of solvers.
Our solve of "Soylent Green" by grkles, a variant sudoku using parity cages and sum connectors.

In this video I am joined by Kishore from Unshackling Sudokus and Puzzles, in the first of what I hope are many collaborative solves together.
You should also check out Kishore's channel Unshackling Sudokus and Puzzles where he and Ashish do an amazing job of solving and explaining sudoku techniques: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCen_KUSfhiNvdO42FZtg81A
Viewer Warning! We actually do not manage to find the fully logical path through this puzzle. After a long time struggling to find the logical path we end up using a uniqueness trick to get to the end of the puzzle. I normally wouldn't post a video where I do this, but because Kishore and I had spent months trying to find a time we could record together, we didn't want to lose the video and we thought it might be of interest to solve viewers.
If you do not want to watch a solve where we do not find the fully logical path, you might want to skip this one.
Rules:
- Normal Sudoku rules apply.
- The inequality sign points to the smaller digit.
- Digits in cages may repeat, and for each cage, all of its digits are the same parity (even/odd). Whenever two cages are connected by a white dot, the digits in those cages sum to the same number. All possible white dots (to a maximum of one dot per pair of cages) have been given.
