500Thoughts about new Marvel Legends Spider-Man retro card Lizard reveal. This action figure is a new sculpt of the character from Spider-Man comics and animated series, based on the original Lizard figure released by Toy Biz in 1994. This Lizard includes two new head sculpts, both are pretty decent, one is a modern style appearance while the other is closer to his first appearance. He also comes with an extra set of hands and two flasks that can be used for chemistry and science type poses. This action figure is a Wal-Mart exclusive, on sale for $29.99. The toy is good, but it's confusing what Hasbro was going for. Is this supposed to be based on Spider-Man the animated series? Because it's not accurate if it is. Is it supposed to be based on the Toy Biz release? Or is it supposed to be based on the comics? Thankfully, Lizard has a bendy/bendable tail instead of the articulated tail that was featured on the build-a-figure, and it looks much better. He also features the newer ab crunch and torso cut articulation, though it doesn't look like he has butterfly joints. Is this worth buying? Is this worth the price? At $29.99, we're getting into Diamond Marvel Select territory, so you have to think about what you want to spend money on. I might be interested if this is on sale.
