There was a lot of "aaaw" moments in this chapter and I really enjoyed it. Even though it was more or less what I'd expected, it was well executed. Though the "crashing the wedding" scene had to be left behind for an actual wedding scene with Mei and Yuzu.
If there wasn't an announcement of a spin-off, I honestly would've felt a bit empty with how this ended. This whole series has a lot of drama, a lot of conflict that takes their relationship into nowheresville. Then there's the whole loop that made me not want to continue buying the series. So having additional materials to flesh out Yuzu and Mei's relationships after the conflicts would be great.
I'm totally fine with gushing out about how cute something is or how romantic whatever is. But I've been following Citrus for so long that I'm so cynical about it even if I'm happy on the inside. Every time this happens to me, I think of Shugo Chara. God I should watch that anime again.
I absolutely love Mei being able to pour her heart out onto the table. Sounds a bit dark, honestly. This chapter and chapter 36--which is still bs--were great in getting into her head. I like her little speech about how she's tried to get Yuzu out of her head and her trying to push Yuzu away (again). TOO BAD THAT DOESN'T WORK ON HER ANYMORE.
