While we're waiting for the full release of Fire Emblem Warriors: 3H, My plan is to showcase all the Intermediate classes.

First up is Mercenary, it might feel familiar to Hyrule Warriors players! It's got the spin attack and the sword beam in one smooth move. Although, it's a bit slower than Link with a sword so I see this set as more AoE-focused for increasing KO count and charging Special gauges.

One thing to add though, the buff you get from using the fully charged spin attack is not trivial, at least at this point of the game. Should you want to focus on raw Combat Art damage instead of trying to break Stun Gauges, I'd actually choose this one over Thief class. In the meantime, Windsweep really helps if you're going for Stun Gauges.

As for the Mage, I think it has good damage potential but it's prone to leaving itself open, especially when using the Class Action shots. Hubert can make good use of it though, once you tag the enemy enough times you can detonate the spike for great damage. I accidentally found out you can "shotgun" with Miasma and get a nice-sized spike right away! How you use this class will really depend on which spells each character learns.
