Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales: Hang Them All! (Part IX) (✔️Adventurer Difficulty)
Now's not the time to mourn, now's the time for war. For slaughter. Revenge. With victory today we'll regain our home, return to our kin and set our blades aside at last. Yet until victory is ours, they must drink, drink greedily of Nilfgaardian blood!
- Meve, Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales
When the world outside sucks (the urban environment that is), and the only option and hope for you is to burrow home in front of your monitor or TV screen with a controller or mouse and keyboard in hands, and escape the insanity, the ugliness, the heat, the nasty and crazy people, the insects, the bloodthirsty stray dogs, the noisy and stinky vehicles and the mundane bombardment the modern world has to offer, then the WORLD of THE WITCHER and the video games connected with it can offer that escape (at a price) and it is very, very rewarding and soul nourishing in the long run. I have learned to ignore empty-headed bastards of all walks of life, with their stupid and nonsensical heeds, advices and elevated so-called "wisdom", when trying to persuade you to accept their tunnel vision perspective, when they say you should, no no, you must quit playing video games (or all kinds of games in that sense) and to "grow" up and throw your life toward the "only" meat-grinding path most people take for granted, and accept their warped view of the world, when in the end it is only you and only you that can decide what's good, healthy and precious for you, no one else. So stay away from them at all cost and stay true to yourself and ignore them all! Life is good, although very short and most of all precious. Make use of every minute of it. The gods made us in order to become gods ourselves. Cheers!
Now let's dive in this incredible adventure that will take us to lands far away and beyond the confines of the mundane and let's hope that we will discover treasures and feed ours souls with the magic and the atmosphere.

The game combines gameplay elements of point-and-click adventure games, strategy card games, and visual novels. It is played from a top-down perspective, with movement in the world facilitated through use of the mouse or controller. As Queen Meve, one is able to roam the map freely and complete quests, all the while gathering resources such as gold, wood, and recruits which are used to maintain and expand an army.
