Because of a quarrel with Prince Harry, King Charles III is letting Princess Lilibet suffer.
The king did not officially wish his youngest grandchild's birthday this month since his relationship with Harry remains strained.
According to royal blogger RS Locke, "last year's birthday acknowledgment was at the late Queen's behest and an indication of the cordial relationship she had with Prince Harry, Meghan, and their children."
"King Charles' decision not to publicly acknowledge his granddaughter's or Prince Archie's birthdays last month reflects their strained relationship and is likely an indication of future social media practises."
This comes after New Idea stated that Harry feels terrible about not having his father see his children.
"The biggest remorse Harry has is about Archie and Lilibet missing out on one of the most important days of their grandfather's life," a source said.
"William's children will live on in history, but his children will not."
Harry also recalls how he "went into overdrive" when his eldest son, Prince Archie, "began asking about his grandfather."
