Josh Hartnett has spoken out about his rumoured dispute with Harrison Ford.
In an interview with The Independent, the actor admitted to having conflicts with him but said that the media exaggerated the situation.
"Drama sold newspapers, especially back then," he went on to say. "However, we got along really well." On set, we had some disagreements over [the screenplay], and there was a lot of rewriting going on. "However, it was misconstrued as 'They don't get along!'"
"It certainly wasn't a high-tension set," the actor continued. I suppose I called him 'the bane of my existence' on the press tour for that film, but that was simply because he was always ribbing me. That's simply his style."
Hartnett previously disclosed his standoffs with Ford during scenes in a 2003 interview with ContactMusic.
"There were times when we'd end up just sitting in the car while we were supposed to be doing a scene, and neither of us would say anything for like an hour."
But, as Hartnett pointed out, the duo worked out their differences over time.
"I think there was a testing period I had to go through," he explained. "But we ended up getting along near the end."
