Tier Listing My ENTIRE Collection! — 2021 Edition
4422021 Shelfside board game tier list is here! With this comes more board games and bigger tabletop collections. New additions range from Brass Birmingham and Blood Rage all the way to War of the Ring, and some older opinions have shifted around from last year's board game tier list! A reminder: these are just personal opinions, so for review recommender scores, they may be completely different. Let's be real here, some board games just have subjectively beautiful components that are fun to look at, which just makes the gameplay even more satisfying for a game night.
There's a lot of different game mechanics and factors that affect if a game is a personal favorite, whether that be player count, time length, genres, weight, or mechanics. With our friend group, different games fit into different niches very nicely, so games that are excellent two player experiences may fall to the wayside in favor of medium and heavy games built for a handful of players. Oh, and the most classy of party games when we need something light for some stupid dumb fun.
