TIER TUESDAYS: PFA Player of the Year
The PFA Player of the Year award is perhaps the flagship award in English football given to the best in class over the course of a season.
We will be ranking the winners of the PFA Player of the Year award from 1989 to 2019. Greatness can be found in double winners such as Mark Hughes, Thierry Henry, Gareth Bale and Alan Shearer. Recent winners include dominant Liverpool players Mo Salah and Virgil Van Dijk as well as Premier League winners in the shape of Riyad Mahrez, Eden Hazard and N'Golo Kante.
