0In this tutorial I'm going to walk you through tiktok privacy settings. Tiktok feature has the number of privacy and safety settings to restrict who can contact and comment on your post and profile. If you want to make changes in any kinds of a privacy settings then follow this steps correctly.
Step 1.Open tiktok application.
Step 2.Sign in to your account. Once you are signed in go to the me button at the bottom right corner. Then this will open your profile. Go to the upper right corner tap on the three dots and go to setting privacy and the privacy menu .
Step 3.Go to privacy under account .In the privacy menu you able to see lot of option that you can work it. Start by private account option if you don't want to expose in public and you want to keep it private .Then you can start by unbaling option button that says private account.
Step 4. Once have you private account although uses approve and follow you and watch your contain. But if you want to be in that fam and go on tiktok leave it suggest for till your account visibility to public .
Step5.If you want to suggest your account to other tap on the second option and make sure all of the buttons are in able on this page you can suggest your account contacts on your phone to your Facebook friends, users with mutual connection, and user interested in accruals like yours.
Step 6.If you want to control your comments on your post then from this page you can tap on the comment options on the safety. Select" who can comment on your videos". If you don't want to see comments from any one then you can set it to no one. you can also filter your comments by enabling filtering comments option.
Step 7. Once you enable the option the comments on the video will be hidden unless you approve them. That way you can control of the comments that you might received in your content.
Step 8. If you want to filters spam and offensive comments then you can enable this option that says filter span and offensive comments. If you want to hide specified keyword on your videos then unless you approve them you can turn on the option that says filter keywords.
Step 9. Tap on the key words that you would like to restrict and you will be able to control certain keywords from appearing to your comments on your content.
Step 10. Under comment management at the bottom the comments that you approve will be displayed. If you want to restrict people from downloading your content on their device then you can go to the download option and you can simply disabled the option and restrict people from downloading your content.
Step 11. Under personalization and data you can get a copy of your tiktok data by downloading your data from tiktok account. Simply go ahead and request your data and you will be able to receive all of your data.
Step 12. If you want to allow any third party advertising to users video then you can enable the ad authorization button and much more option that you can go on.
Step 13. If you want to address people from making duets videos then you can go-ahead and select the option that says only me or if you do want people to duet with your video then click on everyone.
Step 14. You can also control to who can view your tiktok videos. If you don't want anyone to know the content then you can set it to only me or if not then set it to everyone.
Step 15. Similarly you can go ahead and allow switch with other video to yourself or everyone. If you want the direct messages and you can control who can send you direct messages on your tiktok profile. You can also set it to no one.
Step 16. The account that you have blocked on tiktok will be listed in the block account category. If you don't want to connect with certain people on tiktok then you can simply go ahead and blocked the contact on tiktok. And take full control on tiktok.
