Time Crisis 2 Playthrough on PCSX2, the PlayStation 2 emulator, using a lightgun and the DirectX11 Hardware Renderer. Viewable in HD at 60 FPS with Google Chrome.

I disabled VU cycle stealing and used the default EE cycle rate for this playthrough. I experienced emulation issues with FMV audio playback at certain parts of the game. I also noticed that the accuracy of the lightgun diminished as a moved the pointer further to the left or further to the right of the screen, even when I felt that I had calibrated the lightgun correctly at the calibration screen. However, I did find out that the missing textures problem only happens when you are using an actual light gun to play the game and the "mouse configuration hack" box is checked in the nuvee plugin configuration. So, you need to check the "mouse configuration hack" box first, and then, when you are finished calibrating the gun at the Guncon 2 calibration screen, pause the game and uncheck that box. I also read that the firing is faster when the mouse hack configuration box is unchecked. I also discovered that when the VU Cycle Stealing speedhack is enabled, it makes the actual gamespeed of the game slower and not faster despite any increases in FPS you might see. To fix the lighting, fog, and other graphical problems with the DirectX11 Hardware Renderer, I used the GSDX-Cutie video plugin and checked the skipiso option in the Hardware Mode Hacks Configuration settings. I tried as best as I could to get the game running at full speed.

You'll also notice that my in-game FPS drops to 25 or so during some parts of the game. I think this is because my CPU was overheating. During gameplay, my CPU cores reached temperature maximums of over 100 degrees Celsius. I put my CPU into a power state that would allow me use my CPU's built-in Intel Turbo Boost feature to increase all core speeds to 3.2 GHZ. I had to due this specifically for this playthrough in order to improve my FPS levels during certain parts of the game and acquire the most accurate gameplay speed possible.
