4Welcome to TIMESPACE, my Undertale "chapter-swap" AU that swaps areas and their corresponding characters with one another.
This replaces "Megalo Strike Back".
Commentary:
*Gerson swaps with Chara*.
Gerson was an extremely powerful and influential monster who was both a powerful royal guard (when it existed...), good friend of King Gaster, and also author and historian. It came to a head when Gerson, persuaded by Chara, was asked to participate in one of Gaster's experiments that would end up going horrifically wrong, shattering Gaster across time and space and killing Gerson himself.
Because Gerson swaps with Chara, and Chara doesn't have any motifs in-game, I decided to use the popular fanon choice of Megalo Strike Back for Chara's theme (especially since in the Deltarune fight it's Kris vs. Chara, and human-related fights are often associated with MSB), which also swaps with the Freedom motif as a whole. So this song uses Gerson's motifs and the Freedom motif.
