Timothy Vs The Aliens: The Story So Far -- Something About The Destruction Of The Earth
Timothy Vs The Aliens Story Mode New Game PS5 Gameplay
Super cheap film noir third person story puzzler that ultimately became a huge letdown. I'll start with what's good - the look, the controls, the idea, but nothing comes together. I guess this is an attempt at a Rockstar-style open world mission trek, but the gameplay elements don't support it. Shooting is tiresome and the puzzles are too simple to repeat. The five devs who made this never bothered recording vocal dialogue, so you need to read the entire story. The cutscenes are nice, but the story of the world and characters is never explained. Furthermore, it is never explained why there are aliens invading. This element is completely out of place, and I would have preferred playing a more down to earth mob story than a science fiction one.
This wound up being the one and only episode I could record because, 53 minutes into part 2, the game crashed destroying the second video. I had initiated a bug preventing any interaction with a quest object. I reset and glitched it again, placing a permanent button prompt on the screen. After narrowly clearing a timed platforming segment, the game motion blurred out of existence. I actually beat the title the next day inadvertently. The game had just one more puzzle and a final boss to go. Overall, this game is built on tired Unreal Engine assets and cannot support it's concept with narrative or gameplay. I wonder what the sequel holds?
