I'm not a Loner. My name is not Kruglov. My task is to infiltrate any Factions that I choose, in order to investigate and seize any of the new prototype weapons and ammunition, that have illegally entered the Zone. I have left the Mercenary Faction to join the Loner Faction. I am the Stalker.

Encrypted Diary: I watched a squad of Ecologists come from the area around Yanov and go to the Ventilation Complex. A large squad of Dutyers went north in front of Volhov, looting the two Monolith I had shot. A couple of Clear Sky, my former Companions that I had picked up in the Pripyat Outskirts, were walking around the Concrete Bath roadways.

I then got a message a Clear Sky member had killed a Clear Sky. I have found that those are usually some kinds of error, where a Psi Storm or Emission had killed them, but neither of those had happened. I decided to come down off the roof of the Checkpoint. I sprinted to the bridge area, where I had seen one of them last and a dog I had shot at. I was expecting to find a dead person but instead I found him kneeling over the dead dog.

The Clear Sky soldier wanted some Rodent Meat, so to make sure he didn't disappear, I hired him as a temporary Companion so he could follow me back to my men. After I gave him the Rodent Meat he wanted, I noticed he had the Moonlight that I needed, for the Mobile Lab Scientists. I took him with me to the Mobile Lab. The Scientists were happy and gave me another job of a Scientist Escorts. to a nearby Anomaly Field. Of course, the Ecologists were poorly armed, and I was about to take them back to my Companions for better weapons, when I realized the Clear Sky Companions had a surplus on him. These are weapons he got from me in the Pripyat Outskirts. I gave the Ecologists some rifles just as we were attack by a Pseudodog, in front of the Mobile Lab.
