I'm not a Loner. My name is not Kruglov. My task is to infiltrate any Factions that I choose, in order to investigate and seize any of the new prototype weapons and ammunition, that have illegally entered the Zone. I have left the Mercenary Faction to join the Loner Faction. I am the Stalker.

Encrypted Diary: I had observed earlier the Monolith Trader and Repair Tech, come out of their bunker when an Emission hit, but I didn't see where they had gone. This time when a Psi Storm arrived, I followed them out into the theater space. Both of them kneeled in front of a large tower of junk, spiraling to the ceiling, and started swaying and praying.

This was the same type of haphazard structure, that I found inside the Bookstore in the Pripyat Outskirts. There was a smaller junkpile with an unknown device at the Kindergarten. This pretty much cemented that all of these things were related to the Monolith. It appeared to be some type of worship or praying altar. After the Psi Storm they returned to their bunker.

After that, with daylight finally arriving in Pripyat, I set out to explore the Stadium a lot better than the night before, where I was able to find an artifact. There was also a surprise for me in the form of a Pseudogiant, that made me glad I was armed for such a situation. I returned to my 40 Companions and soon made another probe to the south. That is when I encountered 2 Monolith, one in an Exo, and they were the best armed I had encountered so far in Pripyat. It's a good thing I have high armor stats, wearing an Exo and the tactical helmet together. The loot was a Vintar and an AN-94. All the other Monolith had been carrying the LR-300.

* Game Note: Wearing an EXO AND the Tactical Helmet, doubles my armor protection, over just wearing the Exo by itself.
