Tinker Tailor Stalker Spy: #1,000 ( Stalker ) Loner Kruglov Escape From Pripyat
0I'm not a Loner. My name is not Kruglov. My task is to infiltrate any Factions that I choose, in order to investigate and seize any of the new prototype weapons and ammunition, that have illegally entered the Zone. I have left the Mercenary Faction to join the Loner Faction. I am the Stalker.
Encrypted Diary: After exploring the rest of the southern part of Pripyat, I headed back north on the western side. The Clear Sky squads found some mutants to shoot at the Bus Station, next to a downed helicopter. We were soon back with the rest of my Companions, and with an Emission and Psi Storm behind our back, good weather and plenty of daylight, it was time to leave Pripyat. I did not want to spend another night in Pripyat. I didn't trust the Monolith leader, as he was hospitable under duress, but I think he was calling his troops to attack us at night. It was time to keep going west.
* Game Note: Call of the Zone features Faction Leaders, Traders and Repair Techs that are invulnerable and do not engage the Player in the DFR. They can be allies or enemies and the Player can access them in either situation. However, if it is a Faction surrounded by other Faction members, like Duty or Clear Sky, all the other Faction members will attack a hostile Player. That means the Player will have to decide if he wants to wipe out all the other Faction members, and then face the reality that if they become an ally, all the support people are gone.
For that reason, some Faction Bases are best avoided when enemies, if surrounded by other Faction members. The Loner Repair Tech is in a building by himself, and easy to access friendly or not, but only for repairs. Likewise, you could probably get to the Merc Leader, Bandit Leader or Monolith Leader, to switch or join their Factions without too much trouble. All of this is not my doing, being beyond my control and how Call of the Zone was created. It is a good compromise for the Player, as the Call of Chernobyl versions were not always invulnerable, making them susceptible to being killed and removed from the game.
