I'm not a Loner. My name is not Kruglov. My task is to infiltrate any Factions that I choose, in order to investigate and seize any of the new prototype weapons and ammunition, that have illegally entered the Zone. I have left the Mercenary Faction to join the Loner Faction. I am the Stalker.

Encrypted Diary: I decided to move my 34 Companions to the Jupiter Checkpoint building. It was just two crowded at the Mobile Lab, with the five-man Ecologist squad and the three Scientists and their Repair Tech. The Checkpoint provided a better elevated view, allowing me to control most all of southern Jupiter. I still hadn't decided what we were going to do next, but I knew we would go to Zaton soon, for several unfinished jobs and rewards.

I knew I was going to wait until daylight, and possibly a Storm or two before we would travel. For now, I got up on the second-floor roof of the Checkpoint and waited to survey the surrounding area of the nightlife. When I saw the Bloodsucker coming up on the road from the north, I pulled out my FN F2000 and shoot it, knowing it would vanish. I have learned that a cloaked Bloodsucker will often still be in the same position, and I continued shooting at where it had been last, and as expected the dead Bloodsucker appeared as it dropped to the pavement. A Chimera arrived later and met a similar fate with my shotgun.

* Game Note: When I launched my Game tonight, I immediately noticed that some of my 34 Companions were not inside the Mobile Lab, but up on the roof with me. This is a known problem and somewhat expected and once it happens, it is almost impossible to get them to go back down below. For that reason, I directed all of them to go outside, where even then I had difficulty getting them all to assemble. I made a save, reloaded it and eventually got them on the road where we moved to the Jupiter Checkpoint building.
