0:00 Tip 1

Since her shield auto triggers after an enemy attacks the party for the first time, best to play her passively. She just has to just stand there.

Since your team needs to be hit (especially when Boss is going to use Ultimate) to trigger Babel's shield, you might still need a healer in a long fight OR actively cast her shield whenever her shield is not active (every 2 rounds).

4:35 Tip 3

When manually casting Babel's shield, make it the first incantation selected, the shield provides crit%. More shield value = More crit. If you have an extra AP, use it to cast her shield for more crit%. Her shield stacking provides more defense and crit%.

[A New Wave] Rank 1 will provide 210% of def. 1200 Def will provide approximately 2500 HP worth of shield which also equates to 8% of crit rate. Stacking the shield can grant about 16% of crit rate.

7:38 Tip 4

The first shield will last for 2 Rounds, subsequent cast of [A New Wave] will stack and not renew the shield's Round. Hence, unless to stack shields, don't actively cast [A New Wave] if her shields are still active.

To maintain her shield active all the time
Round 1: Cast Shield, + FUA Shield will stack
Round 2: Shield has not expired - so don't cast shield, FUA Shield will stack
Round 3: All shields will dispel
*Even if we actively cast the shield in Round 2, all shield will still dissapear in Round 3 as the base shield was casted in Round 1.
