This is pretty much how a deathless TMNT IV run goes. You go into it with the intent of going hitless, at some point you'll get hit, and then from that point on you have to stay in the mindset of not getting hit, and then it carries you through the game so that you can complete it deathless. The good news is that I don't think I took very many hits from the foot soldiers. I know there was one whip guy in the first level and a pillow guy kick later on in the pirate ship level, but aside from those two alone, I think I was almost perfect on the foot soldiers. The only real run-threatening part was in prehistoric where I got hit at the first appearance of the rock soldiers after taking a hit from the last ceiling spike that I jumped into, but I recovered well from that and got my completed deathless run in. So this was at least an improvement from my first run, which you can see on YouTube.
