TMNT: Turtles In Time (SNES) - Sewer Surfin (Rock/Metal Guitar Cover w/ Clip Movie)
Ahhhhh TMNT. How many hours did I spend on this and other games like it? Grab a friend and dominate the foot clan or fight over who's gonna be Donatello or Leonardo. Gotta hand it to the early co-op side scrollers. They really brought people together to fight and throw controllers.
Ever since I started doing these game covers I've wanted to record a version of this song because it just has that awesome feeling to it. Very conducive to rock and metal. I enlisted my buddy Carlos on this one too. He's got the second guitar solo in the song if people are interested. Also he's got his own YouTube page that he only has one video on. I give him a bunch of grief too because of his lack of content. Maybe one day he'll put up another video. Here's the link:

It would be awesome to say I wrote this tune and ones like it, but alas, I did not. The original score was composed by the duo Mutsuhiko Izumi and Kozo Nakamura who both worked for Konami back when this game was released for the SNES in 1992. I am simply paying homage to these musical geniuses in my own weird way. This "DERIVATIVE WORK" (look it up) is also covered under the current copyright laws and as long as I don't sell my work for money, I won't get a cease and desist letter from the copyright owner. Otherwise I gotta go pay for some licenses down at the ol' Harry Fox agency.
I mostly do video game covers, but here's a list of other stuff I've uploaded just to mix it up a little. And yes I'll do more song songs in the future. You should see my list of tunes I plan to cover. It's massive:
