Had enough time this weekend to work on this TNO custom event: a relatively bloodless, democratic "divorce" for the Iberian Union should either the Caudillos' regime fail to consolidate, or if their potentially democratic successors consider separation a better choice.

A remake of sorts of my old "Iberian Divorce" super event ( https://youtu.be/TJZFU3NOByA?t=435 ), this outcome is more of a bittersweet "badend" than an actual failstate: a unified Iberia is gone, and with it any hopes of being a regional power, but its constituent nations are stable and free.

For some trivia, the music used is the contemplative yet melancholy "Inspiration" by the Gipsy Kings ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4LOW0TGyAE ), with the accompanying footage coming from both the immediate birth pains of post-Franco Spain and the 1974 Carnation Revolution in Portugal.
