Hi guys. This is TheologyMatters. While scrolling through YouTube Shorts, I came across one where the daughter was crying and the father saw and comforted his daughter. The father asked what was up and the daughter then replied with "Don't be mad." The father replied he wouldn't which made me say bull. Because any anger isn't on my kid, but on other factors. After a good 20 minutes of thinking of the stanzas, I started to write most of them down. I actually read this to a few and they seemed to like it. So, with Father's Day inbound, I thought I'd release it especially in this day and age where fathers are abandoning their children and unborn children are seen as unworthy of life.

The Lyrics/Stanza/Words:---------------------------------------------------

September twenty-fourth.
My boy, your mother has told me news that sent my heart to Mars, if not Jupiter. You will be coming soon. I just need you to know this.
I will love you from the day of your birth till my breath gives. You won't see listening to your gentle breathes. Or the thousand upon thousands of car checks to see your face. Alas, my love nor your mother's is strong enough to keep the Darkness back.
I will protect you from foes that wish your end before you start. But some. Some will lurk in through my defenses and I wish I would be the one to bleed. And even then, I cannot stop the demons, who seek to turn your min into a battlefield, if not a graveyard. For when they come, for they will, I will return to the Shadows that I escaped in my youth, for I know the way out. And if only one can flee, then run. I will survive their torture. I did before.
I'm sorry that you will have to pay for your father's actions. Just know that everything I've done, do and will do is for your safety. For if I could, I would suffer thrice the amount you will. I'm sorry that to protect those like you, that I will be the less than perfect father that you deserve. I hope you can see that it would be selfish of me to have another father to suffer my fate. Just know that if you think of me, I have thought of you tenfolds.
I promise to you, my boy, that you can come to me with anything. I can't promise that I won't get mad, but I can promise I'll judge just and fair. I'm sorry that to protect you, I must become something terrifying. Just know that the creature has your father's heart. It's rage and anger will not touch you. For the Devil could not stop The Father, nor will he conquer this one.
I love you, son.
Sincerely, Dad.
