TOCA Series -1997 - 2002 π¦ππ¨π #gaming
4TOCA, also known as TOCA Race Driver, is a racing game series developed and published by Codemasters. Initially, the series focused on touring car racing, particularly the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC), offering players an immersive experience in competitive circuit racing. This was complemented by pre- and post-race commentary from former touring car driver and television presenter Tiff Needell.
Following the release of TOCA 2 Touring Cars, the series moved away from its BTCC focus, shifting to a global motorsport perspective with World Touring Cars, which expanded the franchise to include a broader range of racing disciplines and gameplay variety.
The TOCA series also made the jump to handheld gaming in 2000 with the Game Boy Color release of TOCA Touring Car Championship.
