Tom and Jerry in House Trap is a pretty strange concoction. Somewhat in the similar genre as Spy vs Spy, this game pits Tom and Jerry against one another in a series of matches where you are to (mostly) beat the other senseless faster than getting beaten yourself. To your help you pick up various weapons scattered throughout the stage such as brooms, frying pans and the occasional cake. A few of the stages are more race like, when you both try to achieve competing goals (wake the dog / make the dog sleep), but the general concept is still the same.

In all, this game is not very fun in the long run. The idea is novel, but it falls flat and quickly becomes a grind. The stages are not varied enough, the fighting is pretty flimsy and boring, and the stages gets repetitive. But a big plus for trying, the idea is sound and a few of the stages are actually quite amusing. Might be a really fun 2 player game, but the CPU isn't very smart.
