Not that it came as a surprise to me or anything, but I can now confirm that from a purely technical standpoint Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier's PC port is indeed crappy enough that it should never have been made available for public consumption in its current state, especially not coming from a supposedly major publisher like Ubisoft. The game looks really underwhelming even with all settings maxed, and runs sluggishly for no reason regardless of graphic and hardware configurations. There have been several patches already but GR:FS is still very rough around the edges even compared with middling but serviceable ports like, say, Spec Ops: The Line or The Darkness II. I got Future Soldier really cheap through a deal on GMG (and knew full well what a train wreck the new Tom Clancy title was supposed to be), but had I actually payed the equivalent of $40-50 on this I definitely would not have been happy...
