Tomcat Alley (1995) PC Playthrough - NintendoComplete
179A beginning to end playthrough of the 1995 FMV Windows 3.1/Windows 95 game, Tomcat Alley, developed by Novotrade and published under the Sega PC label.
There isn't much that separates the PC version (the packaging blazoned with a blurb that brags/alienates potential buyers by claiming that the game "Requires Pentium processor") besides the incredible upgrade in the graphics. Granted, they are still nowhere near DVD quality, but the paltry show put on by the Sega CD version is wholly upstaged by the PC version, running 15fps at 320x240 with the option to play in 256 color or 32-bit true color mode.
This video was recorded while playing in the true color mode, and despite the occasional hiccup in the video because of CD access, is quite a decent looking FMV game for a 1995 PC. It should have been, requiring a Pentium 66 in 1995, given that the requirement meant that the great majority of people wouldn't be able to play it.
Anyways, hope you enjoy. If you like Tomcat Alley on the Sega CD, make sure to try this one - the graphics and the mouse control make it an entertaining game!
