Tons of people quit streaming every day - how do you know if YOU shouldn't?
8Here I outline an approach to a good review process for my channel and hopefully it will help you too. As I say all the time, dont grind enjoy the process ! Also games may not always be the answer - try just chatting maybe even just for a nice way to start a stream?
I see the question pop up on social media and Twitch - "should I quit streaming on Twitch?" - well if you're thinking about that then there are two questions you need to ask yourself first. Get in the right mindset, enjoy the journey rather than enduring the grind - the truth about live streaming is that's it's a long journey and needs patience!
Hit a low point and not sure what to do ? Well, it's always worth taking time not streaming and think - what are the healthy questions to ask in streaming - are you enjoying the time and choice of game ? Do you have realistic expectations ? It doesn't have to be a solo journey and you can grown your channel by collaboration too - plan times to network through raids or setup multiplayer nights - it is a long journey streaming so give yourself breaks and time to review every so often.
Why should you stop streaming? If each stream you feel exhausted and you are not making any progress then you need to stop and evaluate. Are you streaming long hours for no growth? Take a day and look back - are the games working? Are you enjoying your stream? Is it the right day / time to be streaming? Do you have enough energy? Your stream needs to work for YOU first and then you can build a community. Stop streaming and think about it first!
