Toon Crisis is one of the wildest browser-based rail shooters from the mid-2000s Flash era. Developed by Mr. Clement for KillTV and End of World Cinema, this psychedelic shooter blends real-world photography with cel-shaded cartoon enemies in a surreal London setting.

Armed with your mouse (or in my case, my RS3 Reaper lightguns), you walk through city streets, cafΓ©s, and riversides while fending off cartoonish invaders that appear over live-action footage. The style is pure chaosβ€”real backgrounds, animated enemies, and a funky acid-jazz soundtrack that keeps the whole thing bouncing.

Your goal is simple: survive waves of weird, colorful creatures while keeping your life bar full. The game’s tone is playful yet frantic, with enemies that feel straight out of a fever dream.
