With the PS5 right around the corner, PlayStation boss Jim Ryan recently revealed that the company plans to acquire new game development studios. Despite the PS4 offering some of the best exclusive games like God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, Uncharted 4 and Spider-Man, certain events could also cause that top position to falter: Microsoft's acquisition of top tier developers like Ninja Theory, Playground Games, The Initiative and Obisidian, as well as Sony's own closing of studios like Evolution and lost partnerships with Quantic Dream, Team ICO and ThatGameCompany. In this video, I share my own top 10 game developers I believe PlayStation should and could acquire. Companies like From Software, Kojima Productions, Ready at Dawn, Insomniac and Remedy would certainly have the potential to deliver some groundbreaking PS5 exclusives. I hope you'll enjoy the video!
