Club Nintendo was customer loyalty program provided by Nintendo where gamers can register codes provided in games and systems. Registered codes can be traded in for collectible physical Nintendo rewards or for digital downloads of popular games. The program ran from October 2, 2008 until its discontinuation on June 30, 2015. It lasted through numerous Nintendo game system generations such as, the Nintendo DS, Wii, 3DS and Wii U, when then was replaced with the current My Nintendo program.
