There are relatively few things that can be more annoying in a board game play than when you're trying to learn/otherwise get into it only to find that parts and pieces feel like cheap knockoffs. Bad money, boards, cards, and the list goes on. But especially painful in otherwise great games.

In something I've mentioned throughout the years at various times, there are a sadly large number of games where, while the mechanics/gameplay itself may be amazing, challenging, and fun, the actual game components don't come near the same level as the gameplay itself. These are always a bit deflating as a gamer. No fun and not a good feeling. Here are my picks for the "Top" games that, while great to play, really fall short in component quality.

As always, though, I need to know what you all say/think! What're your picks for great games that don't have component quality to match, and why? Let me know in the comments!
