One of the most common ways of winning any board game is having more stuff than everyone else. Whether it's money, points, etc., the concept can get a bit repetitive. So today we're taking a look at games that use other metrics in order to determine the winner! Enjoy!

I am not a huge fan of blatant point/money/whatever type of games where you simply need to be/do/have the best and leap ahead of everyone else. Granted, it's a very simple mechanism that works very well and gives a distinct, easy-to-track and quantified metric to see who is in the lead at any given time. That said, I wanted to take a look at some games that are a bit different, using some more unique mechanisms to track and determine winners - they tend to be more abstract, but still, I'm a fan and hope you are too!
