Wobble fixed and geometry improved..

Wobble was due to some idiot converting the cab to UK power by installing a 220-100VAC transformer on the tray directly under the monitor. No wonder the wobble was worse in the lower left corner! Moved transformer out of the cab temporarily and wobble 100% gone. Slight convergence in right corners but this to be expected to some degree on a pure flat tube. I have seen this corrected on another youtube vid but I can't understand what the guy does :/

Geometry was two things, poor focus and badly set pincushion. Tweaked FOCUS pot on flyback to get outer corners sharp and fortunately this chassis (D29CQ51) has additional pots for pincushion, parallel etc., unlike the earlier (D29CO51) that requires a mod to the remote board to access the extended on screen menu.

Just need to work out what's causing the slight interference/random flashing pixels now. Will do another video for that - hopefully will be an easy fix too!

Anyway a lot happier now and starting to see why these monitors are widely regarded as the best out there!

Edit: just realised the music on the radio in the backgroud is kinda appropriate! Lol!
