This run was almost amazing. I no missed stages 1-3 pretty easily and nailed some of the harder sections in the later parts. But most of all, I no missed Utsuho! This run as a whole came out of nowhere since I started practicing this game essentially today. Way back in the day I used to play this game on easy a lot and I watched a ton of runs, so that helped me a lot.

So anyway how's the game? If you ask me, it's the best Touhou game. There are so many sections that are just so fun to play, like the fairies that spam talismans in stage 4. The boss fights feel very unique and I like all of their designs. Satori has a different fight per character. It's decently challenging right from the start. All the shots have something unique to them, some are even completely unique. You're rewarded for not dying to spells as opposed to getting extra lives at set spots. The grazing mechanic rewards skillful grazing. All this lead to a very rewarding game that feels great to play.
But the biggest part is probably Utsuho. She is without a doubt my favourite boss fight in all of video gaming. Her power, her spells, the music, the visual design, high contrasting blue bullets against pulsating red suns. It is a truly "epic" final boss.
