Well, this run was 10-11 years overdue. I don't know why I never continued attempts after nearly clearing in 2012, and I also don't totally know why I stopped playing these games after 2014ish until a month or two so ago.

This is probably my second best accomplishment in the series, only beaten out by ISC no item all clear and narrowly BEATING MoF LNB. Yeah. UFO lunatic is that hard. I couldn't be much happier with this clear honestly.

Stage 1 (0:00)
Pretty consistent after a couple hours of grinding runs, only trouble spots were being aggressive with UFO summons and the occasional bad wave on Busy Rod.
Stage 2 (3:25)
This stage was weird, I went from not really getting it and losing runs in silly ways to executing my route basically every time around the third day of attempts. I spent a bomb somewhere I usually don't and avoided spending one somewhere I usually do, so overall the stage was standard or above average given Kogasa. Kogasa also clicked, I started recognizing bad situations from really far out and figured out the final for runs where I had no bombs getting there.
Stage 3 (6:50)
Stage 3 is so hard. If you end up off-route even a little bit it can snowball, both in terms of summons and dodging. I ended up off-route here almost immediately but stabilized, and was a bit slow at the end of the stage causing more resource expenditure. Ichirin, I understood every pattern by the end though the spellcards were often risky enough to not be worth the attempt with bombs in stock.
Stage 4 (11:06)
This was only the second time I got to Stage 4 and didn't completely botch resource collection - so much is happening, especially at the end of the stage, that it kind of requires improvisation and improvisation can go wrong so easily. In 2023 attempts, I never failed Nueball - so much rides on that short section. Murasa is like Ichirin where I could pull out a capture of anything, though most of the fight would be excessively risky to go for.
Stage 5 (15:46)
For the first 3 days of attempts, every run that got here imploded in the stage portion. I got tired of effectively throwing runs and went back to practice for an hour and ended up tweaking timings to get something more consistent. Then I got here with 1 green instead of 2 in the run prior, and implode because I had to improvise. So back to the drawing board to figure out how to get back on track, which I nearly executed here. It went well enough overall, though I would have like more bombs into Shou. Who absolutely bodies me most attempts - I can do everything except Vajra on a good day, but most days are not good days.
Stage 6 (20:32)
The stage portion is free except Nueball last wave, so I bomb the third wave to cancel both. Byakuren is largely hard but fair and I've done every pattern in isolation within a dozen tries. In a full run, where power loss snowballing is a major concern? Well, I'll let the run speak for itself.
That ending....
Staff Roll, Special Thanks (25:49)
In the MoTK mention, the names mentioned are people I remember being supportive or generally helpful and is by no means an exhaustive list - I forgot Minogame, for instance.
