For all the complaining I do about this stage and how I'm not going to go for ExNN, I sure do play it a lot (because I am unhinged).

So yeah, one of the longest Extra Stages, and probably the hardest one to perfect. It's either this or IN. The stage is a huge bore, nothing much to say here. Really long, really easy. 5 minutes of nothing happening, I'm guessing it was made that way so you could try to graze for life pieces, but still. To mitigate the tedium I started watching videos on the side while doing the stage portion.

I prefer to do Doremy's first spell higher up, that way I only have to dodge one butterfly wave at a time. If you sit at the bottom, there's a possibility you'll get two waves overlapping really awkwardly.

For the final jellybean fairies I horizontally align myself with the safespot using Reimu's needles and some white spots on the top border of the screen, like this: https://i.imgur.com/F5p1XVU.png

Then, vertically align my hitbox with this spot on the globe like this: https://i.imgur.com/JTtPcEc.png

It's very simple once you get the hang of it and I prefer to do the horizontal alignment during the first jellybean fairy, since it's really easy to dodge it without horizontal movement anyway. You don't have to align 100% perfectly but try to get as close as you can, it should be very consistent.

I guess I'll talk about the boss a bit again, it'll probably be a rehash of most of the stuff I've said before in my previous Hecatia fights though.

2nd non: Awful visibility. Can be quite tricky, make sure you understand where the fast kunai lanes are going to fly relative to the slow lanes. There are breaks between the waves where it's safest to do your horizontal movement. Annoying if she moves low on the screen.

2nd spell: Vertical streaming is risky if you're not using Marisa. I prefer horizontal streaming, start out at the sides and slowly move inwards along with the fireballs. Do the restream in one quick movement once the fireballs have moved all the way out again, then stream back in and repeat.

Apollo Reflection Mirror: Scary if Hecatia moves to the sides, like she does here. I usually prefer not to chase her, it's too dangerous. Stick to the middle.

4th non: This is literally just Junko's 3rd non on Lunatic, why the heck is this in an Extra Stage. Same approach as my Junko LNN, I only move in one direction at the end of each wave instead of zigzagging. It's easier to control your movement that way. Usually manageable but if she moves low on the screen it becomes really annoying.

5th non: Hecatia's movement is bugged, she seems to have no upper or lower bounds on her movement, so she can go all the way to the bottom of the screen if you're unlucky. Just pray you don't get meme'd that way I guess. She can also go all the way up but she usually seems to move down instead.

6th non: Hardest nonspell in the stage, same approach as 2nd non but way more intense. There are still some small breaks between the waves where you can do your horizontal movement, but they're a lot tighter and less forgiving. Your neurons should be activated the entire time, always looking for the best way to reach that safe spot on the right of each slow lane.

Lunatic Impact: Hardest spell in the stage, it's not very possible to get a completely consistent route because of variance in Hecatia's position when she deploys the moons, but you should try to lure them around in a circle. Trying to squeeze through the stars while the screen is shaking can be pretty tricky and is a subtle detail that actually makes this a whole lot harder. Use the breaks between the star waves to do your horizontal movements.

8th non: Basically just 4th non, but thankfully with far less health. It has still killed me on pace before though, because of course it would. Also, it's red now, that means it counts as a brand new pattern.

8th spell: Terrifying on pace. One of the danmaku patterns of all time.

Trinitarian Rhapsody: Easy until the last few seconds, although variance in your movement during the green phase can cause it to unfold in unexpected ways so be careful. This spell is bugged and Junko's hitbox will spawn in the middle of the screen for 1 frame right as the spell ends, which will kill you if you're standing there. You probably don't want to be in the middle anyway, I find it the densest part of the pattern. At around 5 seconds left, I start moving outwards.

Final: Junko's version is easier, I face Hecatia's mostly out of habit now. Be aggressive with weaving through the rings or the kunai will cut you off. Just do Junko's version honestly, it's not like it's a particularly hard spell either way but it's the last pattern in the run and you'll probably be nervous or something.
