The first of the L10.1 pair that released around the time of Touhou LostWord LIVE 2024! I like the concept of these two, and it was a relief that they were Epic Friends but with a new Universe Code, so yeah, was happy with how they went about their releases.

As for L10.1 Reimu as a unit though, well she seems solid I think. Breaking looks good with a focus on Wood and Sun elements (mainly Wood) and she comes with multiple means of inflicting and breaking Paralyze anomalies. Inflictions come from Skill 3 (All), Spell Card 1 Pre ATK (All), Spell Card 2 Pre-ATK (Solo), and Last Word Pre-ATK (All). Breaking these are achieved via Focus Shot (Solo, 3P), Spell Card 1 (All, 2P), Spell Card 2 (Solo, 2P) and Last Word (All, 3P). Being able to get off 5 Paralyze anomalies off the jump is alright I think, but could be worse (+3 and +2 on all enemies via Skill 3 and SC1). Another thing to note is those anomalies inflicted last 5 turns which is interesting.

Speaking of anomalies, L10.1 Reimu can also give herself anomaly buffs (Paralyze, Poison, Blind on her give offensive buffs) via not just Skill 2, but also multiple Spell Card bullet lines when it comes to Paralyze. This helps her gain Yang ATK and CRIT ATK, both important buffs for her, with more Yang ATK for the team with Skill 1, +2 Yang ATK II from Last Word Pre-ATK. Skill 2 also comes with Yang DEF debuffing to further help with that. While CRIT ATK buffs are harder to come by, there are come CRIT DEF debuffing from SC2 Pre-ATK. Another notable buff is the massive Spirit Power gains, both for herself and enemies, such as +1.50 Spirit Power for herself and for her allies via Skills 1 and 3 respectively, as well as on the Post-ATKs on SC1 (+2.00) and LW (1.50) for herself and for her allies, also respectively. When the Spirit Power buff comes, it's very fruitful to say the least, which I think is cool! Also worth noting are the Barrier buffs for herself (Skill 2, SC2 Post-ATK), Team Accuracy when Boosting, Evasion debuffs on Pre-ATKs (SC1, LW), CRIT Evasion Debuffs (LW Pre-ATK), and of course, the most notable Skill Cooldown Reduction Skill! This is on Skill 3 which is a 7T Cooldown Skill ironically. Another helpful buff is Agility for herself and for the team, on the Pre-ATKs on SC1 and SC2. More on that below as it contributes to Slice Scaling.

I think L10.1 Reimu's damage potential is solid overall, although maybe not the best out there. Her Slice Scaling can go up to 110-130% Scaling on her Last Word, which can be helpful. Her Ability can also help with her effective damage output with a 30% increase for effective Wood/Sun elemental damage, and maybe 2 stages of Yang ATK II can help too. Thankfully her Anomaly buffs help when it comes to her own Yang ATK and CRIT ATK, otherwise it would be challenging to reach her damage potential, but thankfully L10.1 Reimu is fairly balanced in that regard. Another thing to mention are her Killers, which get the job done. They are Youkai, Musician, Ghost, Magician, Divine Spirit, and Hakurei Shrine. Not a lot there, but mainly carried by Youkai for sure.

Overall, I think her downsides are that her Skill 3's 7T cooldown is a bit lengthy, and outside of anomalies, CRIT ATK buffs are a little lacking. However, one thing that is disappointing was that for some reason, the VS Divergent Spirits Story Card on the Merlin (B5) stage does not benefit L10.1 Reimu the most, as it only gives a +50% boost in Wood. Right now, she is lacking a helpful Wood + Ofuda Card, but I am looking forward to her damage increase when that day comes!

All in all, I am satisfied with L10.1 Reimu! I heard L10.1 Marisa isn't quite as good, but I'll see when I go over her. Best of luck to anyone who wants to get this version of Reimu, and now for the timestamps and music below, featuring a Touhou Cannonball throwback!
