ANOTHER Showcase video! This will be the last one for the time being (until they release L80 Patchouli it looks like) and it's the return of the Genics with this one, with Genic unit number 3 being LR1 Renko + Gengetsu, with a LM1 Maribel + Mugetsu unit to look forward to!

So about LR1 Renko and Gengetsu, I do think this Genic unit is among the levels of the two that came before, and there are quite a lot of Yin ATK buffs/Yin DEF debuffs to go around. Yin ATK buffs for the team include Skill 2, Boosting and Spell Card 1 Pre-ATK, with lots of selfish buffs from her bullet lines, and Yin DEF debuffs found via Spell Card 2 Pre-ATK, Last Word Pre-ATK and again, lots of bullet lines, with some on Spell Cards 1 and 2 debuffing by 2 stages instead of the usual 1. Other team buffs include Agility on Skill 1, Spell Card 1 Pre-ATK (both for the team) as well as selfish Agility buffs on more bullet lines, Spirit Power buffs on Skill 1 (Self), Skill 3 (Team) and Spell Card 2 Post-ATK (Self) as well as Passive 3. A little extra thing is her Barriers she gives to the team with Skill 2 every 4 turns which is handy. There is a little bit of CRIT ATK team buffs, CRIT DEF debuffs and a selfish Yin ATK II buff on her Last Word Pre-ATK, and it is a shame there isn't a whole lot of CRIT stuff to work with outside of that. There was also nothing for Accuracy so far, although it's not fully hopeless in that regard...

The anomaly side gets a little interesting. Firstly, Gengetsu can gain Agility, Accuracy and Evasion for any Burn/Blind layers on her, and with her needing Accuracy, and with the Barrier Restoration potential, it's salvaged here I think! Self-Inflictions include Skill 2, a Spread Shot line, a Focus Shot line, 2 Spell Card 1 lines and 2 Spell Card lines. As for inflicting them on enemies, Burn anomalies inflicted include Skill 2 (All), Focus Shot line (Solo), Spell Card 2 line (All) and Last Word line (All), Blind anomalies include a Spread Shot line (All), Spell Card 1 Pre-ATK (Solo), Spell Card 2 Pre-ATK (All), Spell Card 2 line (All) and Last Word line (All). Breaking these with Burn are achieved via Focus Shot (3P), Spell Card 1 (3P), Spell Card 2 (2P) and Last Word (2P), with Blind breaks done via Spread Shot (2P), Spell Card 2 (3P) and Last Word (3P). Very solid, although slightly ehh that there is a bit of a Burn/Blind clash on Spell Card 1, but that's a minor thing. As for elements, not much to say or criticise imo, lots of Sun and Moon, Spell Card 1 is a full moon and Last Word is all Sun!

One more thing to mention about this kit is the awesome Resonance Skill! This one looks like a hybrid of the last two Genics, with a 5% increase in both Damage and CRIT Damage for every front guard there is (remember Genic = 2 instead of 1) which is awesome I'd say. It is in an 8T cooldown Skill but yeah, that's kind of expected for these kind of Skills. As for damage potential, LR1 Renko/Gengetsu can hang with the other Genics when it comes to Last Word damage, and her Killer range is decent all things considered (Shrine Maiden, Magician, Human, Youkai, Vampire, Shinigami, Mugenkan, Lost Presence). Other notable factors include that 30% boost in effective elemental damage, Slice Scaling which on her Last Word goes up to 200% on Line 1, and those constant bullet line buffs (Yin ATK, Agility) and debuffs (Yin DEF) will help a lot.

I think downsides would have to be the obvious 8T Cooldown on Skill 3, although would the effects justify it? I don't know. Others I'd say would include CRIT ATK buff difficulties barring Last Word. Accuracy issues are more on the situational side with how common the anomaly inflictions on herself are, but these are not very severe weaknesses, and can easily be worked around and supported.

I think I will gladly consider LR1 Renko and Gengetsu better than the previous L10.1 duo! Great breaks, lots of Yin buffs/debuffs, anomaly stuff is great, handy turn durations on some of the above, and of course, this marks the return of the Genics, and I really hope LM1 Maribel and Mugetsu can keep up with this Genic standard when their times come!
