Oh my god, what an experience...a painful one, but I'm just happy to have cleared it on Lunatic! This video will only go over the Lunatic clears as they are the interesting ones, and the video was getting a bit too long!

How was it though? Normal was, alright, Hard and maybe the first 2 stages of Lunatic were actually manageable (typical DS standard?), but the real pain came from the last Lunatic one. 2 Waves of 3 gauges (basically 6 gauges) which is tough to plan out, but I eventually found a way to clear it in the end!

The Blind anomalies were definitely a pain, but we have been getting used to that with recent DS stages. For the last stage though, it might have been a case of making sure the team for Wave 1 is more on the Yin side and the team for Wave 2 is a bit more Yang-based, at least that's what I gathered. I think I will just go over the very last stage on Lunatic, because that's the one that gave me the most trouble.


For the team I used on Stage 3 Lunatic, I used L80 Kasen, Cz1 Marisa and LM1 Maribel/Mima for the Wave 1, and I used L80 Sakuya, L80 Kaguya and LR1 Renko/Shinki for Wave 2. Extremely painful, and I had to make changes here and there along the way, but one thing that did stay consistent was that I wanted to save my very best for this Stage. But yeah, it was pretty much a Yin Wave 1 (Cz1 Marisa is Yang but benefits from Yin DEF debuffing so meh) and then you have the Yang side for Wave 2 (except L80 Kaguya isn't Yang but she still pulled her weight with Moon Weakness inflict). Definitely a gruelling journey to get to this point, but I'm just glad it's over (even though there was another one since this recording)

So yeah, Wave 1's First Gauge...I just went all out with the Spell Cards. I was surprised that LM1 Maribel/Mima didn't need her own Story Card to pull off all that damage, but I'm glad that did enough! But yeah, this is what I meant about starting off with the Yin side, with L80 Kasen, Cz1 Marisa and LM1 Maribel/Mima. I did have to make sure Cz1 Marisa did some extra damage/breaking on the enemy Mugetsu, but I think with that, this Gauge was definitely beatable on Turn 1. I did have to restart in the recording because of a little mistake with inflicting anomalies, I needed as many Burn anomalies there as possible.

Gauge 2 for Wave 1 I was able to still preserve my precious Last Words, but before that, breaking again. With buff removal, getting the breaks with Mima wasn't guaranteed since I didn't have the Accuracy buffs anymore, but that wasn't an issue in the end. When everyone was fully broken, I was fortunately able to eliminate all their gauges using Solo Spell Cards.

As for Gauge 3 for Wave 1, sit's quite simply a case of using Last Words. Thankfully, even though I also selected L80 Kasen's, her LW wasn't needed as she was 3rd up in the priority list (Cz1 Marisa, then LM1 Maribel/Mima), so that LW could be saved for later. But yeah, I'm glad going into the next wave, there are still 4 LWs to work with!

But with that said, it's time to face Gengetsu. Of course, I switch out LM1 Maribel/Mima for LR1 Renko/Shinki and Cz1 Marisa for L80 Kaguya (not before getting off even more Burn anomalies), but I keep in L80 Kasen since she still has a Last Word to work with. Thanks to both L80 Kasen and Cz1 Marisa's Anomaly inflicting Skills cooling down in time, I was able to inflict 6 Burn anomalies on everyone, which L80 Kaguya handled. In Full Break status, I finally use L80 Kasen's LW, and while Gengetsu was a bit difficult to take down, that wasn't too difficult in the end.

Now for Gauge 2 of Wave 2 L80 Kasen's Stored Power Skill is finally in play again, but I had to switch her out for L80 Sakuya still. At this point, I have 3 Last Words left, and I don't think I was sure what to do at this point, but ultimately decided to use L80 Kaguya's LW here. With Moon inflict, L80 Kaguya will thrive here, despite the slight disadvantage Yin has here, especially backed up by LR1 Renko/Shinki's Resonance Skill.

As for the final Gauge, this gave me issues before this recording, but with a plan now, with L80 Sakuya providing crucial debuffs and LR1 Renko/Shinki bringing the raw damage, it was extremely satisfying to finally pull this off!

So yeah, extremely difficult stage, but not impossible! I needed a little guidance from some YouTube videos at one point when I was stuck on the final stage, but thankfully got there in the end! I may be able to get another of these videos out for the most recent one of these that came in JP! For now, it's timestamp time!
