Hi everyone! In today's video I am going to be talking about how Tourette syndrome is NOT a joke and how you guys should help break the stigma by taking the Tourette syndrome Pledge! This PSA to pledge ensures that you will NOT use Tourette's as a punchline ever again, and will vow to educate and help break the stigma! I talk about how important it is to PLEDGE and I talk about some of my experiences where people were rude to me because of my Tourette's. As a girl with Tourette's, I would love to spread awareness and education about my disorder, as I feel it is quite misunderstood in today's society. The media has made it out to be a swearing disorder only, which is far from true. I hope you will take the pledge and educate yourself on Tourette Syndrome and tic disorders! Life with Tourettes can be difficult, but just know that we're the same as everyone else...except for the fact we tic like clocks! (:
