Hi everyone! In today's video I am going to be talking about Tourette's and different swearing tics. I explain coprolalia, copropraxia, coprographia, and coproskepsi a little bit more than I have in the past, and I wanted to clear some things up about my previous videos. I wanted to explain Tourette's and swearing, as well as what you need to know about it. As a girl with Tourette's, I would love to spread awareness and education about my disorder, as I feel it is quite misunderstood in today's society. The media has made it out to be a swearing disorder ONLY, which is far from true. Tourette's is so much more than JUST swearing, but swearing tics such as coprolalia do play a big role in TS. I hope this video will educate you on Tourette Syndrome and tic disorders! Life with Tourettes can be difficult, but just know that we're the same as everyone else...except for the fact we tic like clocks! (:
